Self-learning courses
The courses of the Virtual Campus for Public Health (VCPH) are structured educational offerings with clear learning outcomes, aimed at strengthening capacities. They are 100% open-access and free of charge for participants, and are available in multiple languages. Upon completion of the requirements, PAHO issues a certificate indicating the corresponding workload.
The self-learning courses, in their most common format, are based on an approach in which participants learn individually, without teacher support and at their own pace. These courses are designed for autonomous learning. They are updated every two years to maintain their relevance.
