Healthy life course

PAHO invites you to this webinar designed to foster a collective comprehension of child and adolescent health and development, grounded in contemporary research, data, and available opportunities. Its primary focus is to underscore the criticality of adopting a life course approach to shape health trajectories during the first 20 years of life.

The Pan American Health Organization carried out the virtual launch event of the WHO/PAHO Regional Oral Health Status Report, which provided a comprehensive overview of the oral health situation in the region, the resources available, and the challenges and opportunities for advancing the Oral Health Agenda towards universal health integration by 2030.

PAHO caried out this first in a series of webinars on the SDGs and youth focused on Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 3: Ensure healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages on Wednesday, October 25 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm, Washington DC time.

This virtual seminar focused on the rationale for aging and longevity as a research priority in the Region of the Americas. In the Decade of Healthy Aging 2021-2030, research should explore older persons’ current situation and aid in the anticipation of future challenges faced by this population, allowing the creation of evidence-based solutions which are cost-effective and specific to the Region.
