Pre-approved protocols for clinical trials: Importance and pending challenges

PAHO’s Regional Program on Bioethics and Unit of Quality and Regulation of Medicines and Health Technologies offered a new seminar of the series of seminars focused on clinical trials.

This session focused on the importance of pre-approved protocols for clinical trials and addressed the challenges encountered in the ethical and regulatory approval processes for these protocols in the Region.
