Description

PAHO's Regional Program on Bioethics of the Unit of Science and Knowledge for Impact and the Unit of Quality and Regulation of Medicines and Health Technologies invite you to participate in a seminar in our series on clinical trials.

In this session, PAHO’s Clinical Trial Accelerator initiative will be presented, along with the progress and ongoing projects aimed at strengthening the quality and impact of clinical trials in the Americas.

The PAHO Clinical Trial Accelerator seeks to enhance the efficiency of clinical trials in the region so that countries can lead research efforts that respond to the needs of all people across the Americas.

It is an umbrella initiative that provides tools to promote ethical, collaborative, and high-impact research, with projects ranging from conceptual development to the design of artificial intelligence–based solutions, fostering innovation rather than duplication. Clinical trials are essential for discovering new therapies and ensuring safe and effective health interventions.

English - Spanish translation will be available.
