PAHO’s Regional Program on Bioethics and Quality and Regulation of Medicines and Health Technologies Unit invite you to participate in the next seminar of our series of seminars focused on clinical trials, which is part of PAHO’s Clinical Trial Accelerator Initiative.

This session will present PAHO’s recommendations to strengthen ethical preparedness for research in emergencies, and the challenges for their implementation in the Region.

Research in emergency contexts, such as disease outbreaks, is essential for generating evidence to improve health responses. However, these scenarios present specific ethical challenges that require thorough prior preparation.

Objective(s) of the event
