Dialogues about research ethics during the pandemic: Challenges and lessons to learn in Latin America and the Caribbean - Second dialogue: REC procedures
PAHO's Regional Program on Bioethics invites to participate in a series of regional dialogues on research ethics in the pandemic. The second dialogue focuses on REC procedures and includes the central REC from Costa Rica's Social Security System, the REC of University of West Indies - Cave Hill and Barbados Ministry of Health and Wellness, Guatemala's National Ethics in Health Committee, and Peru's national transitory REC for COVID-19 trials.
The dialogue has a Spanish - English translation. Video on Youtube available only in Spanish.
The series "Dialogues on research ethics during the pandemic: Challenges and lessons to be learned in Latin America and the Caribbean" analyze in this second dialogue the procedures of the Research Ethics Committees (REC) in the pandemic of four countries from the region.
