Conduct situation analyses to support local planning of NCD services, using tools to improve accessibility, quality of care, intersectoral and community coordination, and to manage essential medicines, health technologies, and health workforce capacity development.


COMPETENCIES FOR DATA MONITORING

Use clinical and epidemiological data to guide decision-making in the planning and follow-up of individuals with NCDs, identifying gaps in continuity of care and monitoring indicators to inform clinical, organizational, and community decisions aimed at improving care.


COMPETENCIES FOR CLINICAL MANAGEMENT

Promote healthy habits, perform risk assessments, early detection, clinical management, treatment, rehabilitation, and support self-care for prevalent NCDs, applying evidence-based guidelines to define clinical pathways and using tools to enhance quality of care in primary health care.
