Introduction
The Department of Health Systems and Services (HSS), through the Special Program, Virtual Campus for Public Health (VCPH), is pleased to launch a series of webinars to promote the design, planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of self-learning courses in the VCPH.
The invitation to participate is intended for all Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) personnel responsible for planning, designing and delivering self-learning (self-paced) courses during this biennium as part of their Unit’s/Department’s activities, and/or to staff interested in learning how to strategically use these courses within the framework of the Organization’s technical cooperation.
The two sessions that make up this cycle are:
Webinar 1: Planning and Coordination of Self-Learning Courses
Objective: To present the guidelines for submitting the project to the VCPH governance, key orientations for organizing the instructional design and course development.

Webinar 2: Implementation, Launch, Promotion, and Evaluation of Self-Learning Courses
Objective: To present good practices in the implementation of self-learning courses, their dissemination and promotion with different audiences and on social media, the processes for course evaluation (including the use of dashboards, impact evaluation, and indicators), and successful experiences from country offices.

A certificate will be awarded to those who participate in both sessions (or watch the recordings) and complete the activities and surveys in the VCPH virtual classroom. During the first seminar, guidance will be provided on how to access the virtual classroom.
The event will have simultaneous interpretation in Spanish and English.
