Call for applications for the “Virtual Course on How to Effectively Address Non Communicable Diseases in the 21st Century” Version 2015
We are initiating the call for applications for the “Virtual Course on How to Effectively Address Non Communicable Diseases in the 21th Century” Version 2015, which will be offered on the Virtual Campus for Public Health (VCPH). The General Coordinator (GC) for this course is Dr. Branka Legetic, regional advisor in prevention and control of NCDs in NMH/ND unit and Director of the course is Dr Anselm Hennis, Director of NMH.
The course will run from 9 March to 7 June, 2015. Its overall objective is to develop among its participants a thorough understanding of a comprehensive approach to addressing the health problem of Non Communicable Diseases.
The course is intended for health and health related field professionals with a minimum of an undergraduate degree and is engaged in the coordination or direct work in NCDS and is seeking to enhance their leadership capabilities and who meet the following professional and technical qualifications:
- Currently practicing in the NCD field (manager, clinician, educator, researcher or administrator)
- Access to a computer with Internet browsing, digital file use and email capability.
