During the event, Gabriel Listovsky shared that the Virtual Campus is celebrating 20 years of history, "we have been pioneers in the Region of the Americas in the use of virtual classrooms for the education and training of health workers."

Likewise, he underscored PAHO's commitment to health education and its vision for promoting continuous training and collaborative learning to improve the health of people in the region and beyond.

Gabriel Listovsky introduced the panelist Nydia Alejandra Castillo-Martínez, who presented about on “OpenWHO  courses as an emerging strategy for distance learning in medical and dental shools during the COVID-19 pandemic”.
