Launch of the Virtual Course II Capacity Building for the Renewal of the Primary Health Care
Launch of the Virtual Course II Capacity Development for the Renewal of Primary Health Care (PHC) was held last May 26 at 11 am Washington DC, with over 50 people, including focal points at country level, participants, tutors and course coordination. This launch was held by Announcing a meeting, which was moderated and led by Dr. Carlos Rosales Regional Adviser in Human Resources Area Health Strengthening Health Systems and Services (HSS) by (PAHO) and the academic coordinator Dr. María Elena López.
Both coordinators reported that the purpose of the course is "the development of the Renewal of Primary Care in the Region of the Americas." Mentioned that this is achieved by strengthening the capacities of leaders and managers of health. They also referred to some of the characteristics of the participants and the diversity of countries that make up this new group.
After the presentations by the doctors Lopez and Rosales, was given a space in which tutors and students raised some concerns that were cleared by the coordination of the course.
