During the days 22 and 23 February 2010, was developed in El Salvador Workshop Virtual Course Evaluation Essential Public Health Functions (EPHF) with the aim of evaluating the learning process and results of the first version of the course.
This workshop was attended by most of the tutors of the course, some outstanding students and management of the Virtual Campus of Public Health (VCPH). Its inauguration was attended by the Minister of Health of El Salvador, Dr. Maria Isabel Rodriguez, as well as representatives from the offices of PAHO / WHO, Washington, DC
The main objectives discussed in this event were:
- Assessing the first virtual course EPHF about relevance, quality thematic, methodological design, educational, convening and registration of candidates.
- Analyze the development of virtual educational process and the commitments of tutors and students.
- Reflecting on their achievements, results and make adjustments for the purpose of organizing the second edition of it.
- Analyze the potential of ongoing and related technical cooperation strategy to develop plans for implementation at the national and sub-national levels.
- Establish guidelines for development for developing a work plan for 2010.
t is hoped that the new course in its second version begins in June and he will join new Virtual Classroom tools that enable greater reflection of the students during the teaching process
