"Capacity Development for the Renewal of Primary Health Care" Virtual Course begins
The 6th edition (in spanish) of the virtual course "Capacity Development for the Renewal of Primary Health Care" began this past July 26. The purpose of this course is to aid managers, leaders and health professionals in decision-making for the process of renewal of primary health care systems.
Eighty eight (88) students from 11 countries (Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Paraguay) are participating. Dr. Carlos Rosales has been designated General Coordinator for the course, and Dr. Irene Melamed is the Academic Coordinator. The course also has a team of tutors with great experience in this topic, and is expected to end in December 2013.
This new version has - besides the experiences gained in the previous five editions - up-to-date contents and design that we hope represents a substantial contribution for the development of the renewal of primary health care in the region of the Americas.
