Description

This is the fourth in a series of webinars exploring the relationship between COVID-19 pandemic an international health focusing on the impact the current health crisis is having on vulnerable populations in the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean. To analyse the impact that the pandemic is having on vulnerable populations, special attention has been given to the analysis of the affected social and health determinats. Such analysis allows a comprenhensive framework to better undertsanding the consequences of the pandemic in terms of poor health and social outcomes in vulnerable population within the Region.

Objective(s) of the event

To reflect on the importance of the addressing the needs of groups in conditions of vulnerability in the response to COVID-19 in Latin America and the Caribbean.

To reflect on issues regarding Equity and the COVID-19 pandemic within the Region.

To enable an active discussion between alumni of the Program Leaders in International Health regarding the impact of the COVID-19 on vulnerable populations
