Virtual Course on Alcohol Policy Advocacy

Alcohol has enormous health and social costs, particularly for young people. Policies are available that can reduce these costs, but they are not used consistently. Advocacy in the policy arena can make a difference between good policy and bad policy, which in turn can literally mean the difference between life and death in vulnerable populations. This course prepares participants to be effective advocates for alcohol policies.

This course assumes that you already know something about alcohol policy, and in particular that you are familiar with the basic research findings on what alcohol policies are most effective.
