Today there are six generations coexisting, all very different from each other and with different needs and aspirations, but in which their lives are linked, influencing each other, and impacting their health trajectories and outcomes across their life course. A Multigenerational Society: a challenge for public health in the XXI century.
This is the second webinar of the series on the life course approach: "The Public Health Practice in a Multigenerational Society".
Objetivo(s) do evento
- To learn how life course theory integrates the notions of development and their interrelationships throughout the life of people and populations and see health as the product of our experiences layered onto the genetics we inherit and are influenced by the integrity of our environment and social circumstances.
- To help decision-makers and public health professionals to understand the challenges involved, for public health strategies and health services provision, the approaching a multigenerational society, not only to protect or minimize risks and diseases but to build and maintain health itself.
- To motivate the putting in place novel ways to practice public health, including the design and implementation of intersectoral policies, integrating the provision of services, and the articulation of programs.
