Started Virtual Course on the Fundamentals of Social Determinants of Health 2010
On May 20, started the Virtual Course on Fundamentals of Social Determinants of Health in its second version which is intended to contribute to the continuing education of teachers and researchers in the field of Public Health at the social determinants approaches them possible to redirect her academic practice, also supporting excellence in human resource training claiming to achieve better health outcomes for population groups.
Of the selected 73 participants from prestigious universities in the continent were enrolled, from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Chile, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Spain, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay and Venezuela.
The VCFSDH have a duration of 96 hours, and it is hoped that scholars recognize the complexity and dynamics of the social determinants of health inequities production generated in different social contexts and incorporating the cross-thematic programs study of health careers.
