Participants of the Leadership Program International Health Edmundo Granda Ugalde reach PAHO in Washington DC for the Module II

During the days 11 to May 22 this year, participants of the Leadership Program in International Health Edmundo Granda Ugalde were in the PAHO to participate in the stage presence of Module II of the course.

In these two weeks, PLSI 2009 participants had the opportunity to deepen the analysis of the conceptual model of health; advance the development of her country in international health in coordination with stakeholders at headquarters and other institutions in the area and to know in greater depth on technical cooperation, diplomacy and health in the subregional integration processes.

This year was attended by 37 participants from 18 countries of the Region, photographed around the PAHO Director Dr. Mirta Roses Periago addition to the coordinators of Cuban medical brigades in Bolivia, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Haiti and Nicaragua.
