NODO Ecuador virtuales en el CVSP.

On March 18 took place in Quito, Ecuador a working meeting with the Human Resources Division of the Ministry of Health and representatives of public universities in order to evaluate the possible formation of a Node Virtual Campus of Public Health (VCPH) in Ecuador.

The meeting was held at the PAHO / WHO Ecuador, was chaired by Dr. Eduardo Puente Páez, National Director of Human Resources of the Ministry of Health and its staff and was attended by the Deans and / or representatives of public universities in Quito, Loja, Cuenca, Guayaquil and Dr. Narcisa Calahorrano, Director of the National Health Council. The activity also involved Dr. Cristina Merino, National Professional PAHO in Ecuador.

The initial presentation of the Strategic Model of VCPH by Dr. Jose Baudilio Jardines, Regional Coordinator of the Virtual Campus, was the starting point for a very positive exchange about the possibility of developing a VCPH Node in Ecuador.

Both the National Director of HR as the representatives of the universities showed great interest and commitment to work on developing a VCPH Node in Ecuador.
