New PAHO publication on addressing the challenges of regulatory systems strengthening in small states 

PAHO has assessed national regulatory capacities using a precursor of WHO Global Benchmarking Tool, and conducted an analysis of the data which suggests an association of regulatory capacity with population and the size of the economy.

Belize became an associate member of the WHO Program for International Drug Monitoring

PAHO launches three courses on COVID-19 in Spanish

The Virtual Campus launched the Spanish version of three online courses to provide information and guidance to countries in the Americas in the response to the novel coronavirus. The courses were already available on the OpenWHO online learning platform in English, French and Portuguese.  All the courses are free and self-placed.
