Workshop to formulate a program of learning for teachers Medicine

(Enlarge image) From 26 to May 28, 2009, in the city of Buenos Aires, met a group of experts in medical education to discuss the broad outlines that would set a course for teachers of medical studies to help establish the change in orientation training to Primary Health Care (PHC). The workshop raised the name of the course: The PHC a renewed challenge to medical education "and to support the process of change in medical schools and health services involved in the renewed development of PHC in their area of influence, strengthening teacher training.

Took into account some guiding questions such as: What is medical need? How it formed? That learning does speak? How progress in the implementation of PHC renewal?

In subsequent months, the working group convened to design a course of no more than 4 months, which will be offered through the Virtual Campus of Public Health from March 2010.
